Alternatives

  Wellness Alternatives rather than medication

Wellness alternatives refer to non-traditional or unconventional approaches to promoting and maintaining overall well-being. These alternatives often diverge from conventional Western medicine and encompass a broad range of practices, philosophies, and lifestyle choices that aim to enhance physical, mental, and emotional health. Rather than relying solely on medical interventions, wellness alternatives typically emphasize holistic approaches that consider the interconnectedness of various aspects of an individual's life.

Infrared saunas and Steam saunas

image_edited.jpg
Hot Sauna

Infrared saunas and steam saunas offer similar benefits such as relaxation and detoxification but differ in their heat source and environment. Infrared saunas use radiant heat from infrared heaters to directly warm the body, operating at lower temperatures with low humidity levels, providing a dry heat experience that some find more tolerable. On the other hand, steam saunas generate steam through water and heated rocks or a steam generator, creating a hot and humid environment with higher temperatures and humidity levels, inducing profuse sweating. Installation-wise, infrared saunas are typically easier to set up, while steam saunas require proper ventilation and plumbing for water supply. Both types can promote detoxification through sweating, but steam saunas may be preferable for individuals with respiratory conditions due to the moist heat, whereas those sensitive to high humidity or with respiratory issues may find infrared saunas more comfortable. Ultimately, the choice depends on personal preference and health considerations.
